Karen Roberts

Senior Remedial Therapist

After years of working in other industries such as hospitality, retail, mining, Karen decided to embark on a journey of a different kind in doing a massage therapy course, being an adult heading back to school wasn’t ideal, but the opportunity arose and surprising herself she loved it.  After finishing she went on to study in England and join cruise ship life for about a year which was an amazing learning experience in all aspects of life.

Karen has worked alongside a wonderful array of different health professionals over the years learning a lot from them all, also learning what she would like to implement in her own clinic one day.

Karen has a different way of looking at Massage therapy she has a holistic look at the body, everything is connected muscles, ligaments, tendons, nervous system, even the day-to-day stresses of work, home and life can affect what is happening with the body.

Karen will mix treatments with relaxation massage as well as remedial massage depending on the needs of you, the client. A wide range of techniques are available to Karen including cupping, dry needling or electrotherapy needling, Reiki depending on the needs of the client.

In her personal life she loves spending time with her son, friends and family, going on bike rides, going camping, rodeos, movies, sewing, reading.

Mel Rogan

Senior Remedial Therapist

Mel has come to us from a range of different clinics, salons and day spas, before settling into our friendly clinic in Kilsyth. She has worked with Chiropractors and other therapists for most of her Remedial Massage career, believing in healing through combining aligning modalities.

Her treatments are relaxing as well as healing, with a mix of remedial, deep tissue and relaxing techniques. She has a wide knowledge in essential oils and can combine cupping into your treatment, to provide optimal results.

She has a passion for nature, likely spending her weekends off grid for some time to reset and recharge her introvert battery. Her hobbies include painting and pottery as well as reading, crafting and gaming.

Mel will be completing her Reiki course in 2024 and will soon be offering Reiki, Reiki massages & Reiki facials.

Dr Chris Mills

Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine specialist

Dr Mills is an Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine specialist. Gut health and wellness along with aches, pain and injuries, pregnancy and postnatal care and general well-being are all areas Dr Mills deals with.

Dr Mills has a strong belief in evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement. Dr Mills also has lived experience of the impact that fatigue, gut health issues and food intolerances can have on your life and believes that with high-quality holistic care, freedom from the impact of symptoms is definitely possible.

Let Dr Mills design a treatment plan to assist you to get back to what is important to you, enabling you to live your life to the full.

Carrin Takla

Massage Therapist

Carrin Takla, comes to us from a holistic health background and is passionate about helping people achieve their wellness goals. 

Carrin is a dedicated practitioner of holistic massage with a keen interest in uncovering the root cause of dysfunction. Carrin integrates various remedial techniques to tailor each session, ensuring a unique and effective treatment.

Carrin has recently qualified in remedial massage so you will be able to claim with her through hicaps in clinic. Continuously advancing her skills Carrin will this year continue on to study myotherapy. Carrin is committed to providing an ever-improving massage experience.

Carrin in her down time likes to spend time with her husband and dog up in the beautiful hills. She loves the outdoors, philosophy and crochet!

Debra Chernovsky

Remedial Massage Therapist; Transformational Life Coach, Master Practitioner of NLP, APNA Nutritionist, Sports Nutritional Advisor & Health Coach.

Deb loves to assist her clients to achieve positive outcomes in all aspects of their life to support general health and wellbeing; whether that’s helping them with pain relief and freedom of movement through remedial massage techniques or helping them to relax, fine tune and refocus their mind, body & soul.  

Her favourite massage techniques are Myofascial release, Trigger Point Therapy, both passive and active stretches and corrective exercises to help rebalance postural alignment causing physical discomfort and also offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage. What she loves most is seeing the improvements in her clients from when they first come in, to how great they look and feel when they leave the clinic, feeling immense joy and satisfaction in making a difference in the lives of others.

Initially, Deb will focus on offering both relaxation and remedial massage treatments but will look to include some of her other modalities down the track, if that’s what clients are needing.

In her spare time, Deb has a thirst for learning new things and is about to further advance her physical therapy training by studying Myotherapy.  To relax she enjoys getting out into nature, either running, or hiking through our beautiful Victorian great outdoors with close friends and walking her fun-loving dog Fergus.
